Floating Stair Hampshire
Our client was a building a new property for his family in Ringwood Hampshire. The large open plan hallway was crying out for a feature stair yet not one that blocked out too much of the light. He was treating all the timber in the property himself so the staircase itself was supplied in beech parquet RAW.
Enlarged Top Step
As there was a doorway under the top of the staircase we needed to ensure there was sufficient headroom. We therefore enlarged the top step of the staircase which effectively pushed the flight forward slightly away from the doorway.

Landing Balustrade
In addition to the staircase we supplied several metres of matching landing balustrade along a walkway at the top of the staircase. Not seen on the photo was a further 4m of balustrade our client purchased to install externally. He was going to treat this himself to ensure it was protected against the elements.
Curved Handrail
To add a nice feature to the bottom of the staircase, a curved handrail was selected which twisted up the flight. This not also looks great but is beautiful to feel as one ascends.
